In December, the FAI - Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano invites you to visit its Lombard assets "dressed up" and to share joyful hours of leisure with your loved ones, participating in the many initiatives that will be organized on the occasion of the Christmas holidays. : themed visits, tastings, concerts, creative workshops for adults and children, concerts, nativity scene exhibitions and much more.
Many engaging initiatives for adults and children organized Villa Panza in Varese, Monastero di Torba in Gornate Olona, Villa della Porta Bozzolo in Casalzuigno and Casa Macchi in Morazzone , including special visits, creative workshops, art, exhibitions of nativity scenes and splendid decorated rooms.
VILLA PANZA
Saturday 7 December - Once upon a time there was Villa Panza
A special guided tour to retrace, as in a journey through time, the history of Villa Panza and the families who lived here.
Timetable: 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Visits last 90 minutes.
Sunday 8 and 22 December - Winter Magic at Villa Panza
Villa Panza offers a creative workshop designed to introduce children and their families to contemporary art in the magical atmosphere of the days leading up to Christmas.
Recommended activity from 4 to 8 years old.

MONASTERO DI TORBA
Sunday 1 December - Christmas wreaths, art workshop
Let yourself be guided by Maura Milani, an artist and nature lover, in the creation of your own Christmas wreath. A workshop in which to unleash your creativity and prepare for the festive season.
Activity for adults, limited number of participants.
Duration: 1h30.
Before or after the activity, it is possible to visit the site independently.
Timetable: 11am and 2.30pm
Saturday 7 December - A painted nativity scene
Starting with the reading of passages from the apocryphal gospels from which the images are inspired, we will discover many details about the story of the Holy Family. We will then reach the Monastery of Torba and discover how the sacred images change style and colour, always leading us back into the living history of ancient Christianity.
Meeting point is at the archaeological area of Castelseprio, via Castelvecchio 1513.

Sunday 8 December - Guided tour and artisan panettone tasting
The Torba Monastery encloses over 1500 years of history within its walls. A guided tour will lead to the discovery of the vicissitudes of the first FAI Property and World Heritage Site.
To conclude, a tasting of the typical cake of the Lombard tradition, panettone.
