From October 23 to 25, 2026, the Varese City Run returns for its seventh edition. Registration is open for a weekend dedicated to running, sports, and discovering the city of Varese. The event features the Varese Half Marathon, an official FIDAL-certified race on the 21.097 km distance, starting and finishing in the heart of the city in the splendid setting of the Giardini Estensi. A technical and fast course that highlights the unique character of Varese through charming streets, scenic views, and natural beauty accompanying participants kilometer after kilometer. The program also includes the Varese Ten, the official 10 km race dedicated to short-distance lovers, and the Family Run, a 5 km run open to all, designed to experience running in an engaging and shared way. Since 2024, the Varese Half Marathon has also offered a non-competitive recreational version, dedicated to those who wish to test themselves over the long distance without the pressure of the clock, running for the pleasure of experiencing the city and the thrill of the run. The Varese City Run 2026 thus confirms itself as an event open to runners of all levels, with three distances and a single goal: to celebrate sports and the local territory through a great community experience.
