INSIGHT 2026 is a city-wide festival dedicated to contemporary photography and to the dialogue between photography and other forms of artistic expression.

From October 16 to 25, 2026, Varese becomes a vibrant setting for exhibitions and encounters, with a programme unfolding across around twenty venues, including institutional spaces, urban locations and open-air routes.

The festival brings together emerging and mid-career artists, schools, academies and independent organisations, creating a rich and diverse programme of exhibitions, meetings, performances, talks, conversations, book presentations, sound events, openings, artist-led walks and social gatherings.

The OUT circuit further expands the programme, bringing contemporary photography and artistic research into new places and contexts across the city.

INSIGHT 2026 offers an opportunity to experience Varese from a different perspective, discover new places throughout the city and engage with diverse artistic visions, languages and practices.
