The beautiful season brings a special charm to the Monastero di Torba: warm colours, peaceful atmospheres, and many opportunities to enjoy unique experiences.
Here are some summer proposals...
Where masterpieces meet brilliant
On Saturday, June 27, the Monastery of Torba transforms into a meeting place for genius, history, and music. The flute of Alberto Navarra, the viola of Giuseppe Russo Rossi, and the harp of Claudia Lamanna winner of the International Harp Contest in Israel will bring to life a refined musical journey featuring works by Debussy, Ravel, and Satie.
From the mysterious solitude of *Syrinx* to the Impressionist radiance of Debussy’s Sonata, every note will resonate between the Late Roman tower and the 9th-century church, creating a unique dialogue between creative intellect and millennia-old heritage.
An experience for those who love to be surprised by the ideas that changed the history of art. For those who appreciate beauty in the details. For those who know that true luxury lies in the thrill of discovery. The music of great masters in one of Italy’s most evocative settings.

We invite you to an experience that defies time: an exclusive evening tour within the thousand-year-old walls of FAI’s first heritage site. This is not a standard guided tour, but a total immersion in a place where archaeological rigor meets the breath of myth.

Following the Lombards – Guided Tour between Castelseprio and Torba
The visit begins at the archaeological site of Castelseprio, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011, a fortified complex on a hilltop at the entrance of the pre-Alpine valleys, where Goths, Lombards, and Carolingians left traces of their presence, turning it into the judicial and military centre of a vast territory. The tour also includes the nearby oratory of Santa Maria foris portas, home to one of the most important early medieval fresco cycles in Europe. The experience ends at the Monastery of Torba, the first FAI property, whose tower once served as part of the site’s defensive system.
