The summer film series Esterno Notte returns once again, bringing the beauty and magic of open-air cinema to Varese and its province.
The event runs from June 11 to August 30, with 81 screenings held between the Giardini Estensi and 20 municipalities across the province.
Most screenings will take place, as usual, in the stunning setting of the Giardini Estensi, but the program also extends to several towns including Besozzo, Ispra, Angera, Castiglione Olona, and Laveno Mombello.
The lineup features many of the season’s most notable films, from La Grazia to Hamnet, as well as The Sea and No Other Choice. Special guest events are also planned, with appearances by Pierpaolo Capovilla for Le città di Pianura, director Renato De Maria for Franco Battiato – Il lungo viaggio, Gabriel Montesi for Ammazzare stanca, and directors Valentina and Nicole Bertani for Le Bambine.
Three months of cinema under the stars, with screenings and events across the province.
Thanks to the Cinema Revolution initiative, Italian and European films will have a flat ticket price of €3.50.
