The Borromean Gulf will once again be illuminated for Christmas thanks to the Islands of Light initiative, which will bring color to the Isola dei Pescatori.

From November 15, 2024, to January 12, 2025, as part of the project promoted by the Lakes Tourist District, the Isola dei Pescatori will be bathed in light, creating a fairytale atmosphere around these places of ancient beauty. Following last year’s success, the event returns to accompany tourists and visitors throughout the festive season.

Historic palaces, residences, restaurants, architectural landmarks, and ancient monuments will be highlighted through a scenic lighting design that will illuminate them each evening from 5:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., enhancing the Christmas ambiance in the Borromean Gulf municipalities of Baveno, Stresa, and Verbania.
