This year the historic Palio of the 6 Contrade takes place June 19-29! The event, which will be held at the Masnago Oratory, includes ten days of events including music, entertainment, culture, food and sports. It will be a great celebration for young and old, with the traditional historical parade through the streets of the district and moments of conviviality. 

Below is the Palio program:

Youth Palio

On the evenings of Monday, June 19, Tuesday, June 20 and Wednesday, June 21, tournaments open to all youths divided into age groups will be held in the oratory. Matches will start at 8:30 p.m. On Sunday, June 25, finals will be held from 3:30 p.m. onward.

• Men's soccer Under 10, Under 12, and Under 14;
• Under 14 women's volleyball;
• Under 18 mixed volleyball.

Friday, June 23

At 9 p.m. at the crypt on Petracchi Street - presentation of the book The Road to the Stars by Carlo Zanzi, with Paolo Costa, journalist and writer. The meeting will be interspersed with music with Manu Argentina, Antonio Borgato, Lidia Munaretti and Guido Zanzi.

Saturday, June 24

At 5:45 p.m. - Concert in Ferrucci Square by the band Acoustika Live Offered by "La Vecchia Masnago."

At 7 p.m. - Grand Palio table.

At 9:30 p.m. - Historical procession Departure from Mantegazza Park with arrival at the churchyard. Great show with fire performance by "Drago Bianco". At the closing grand finale of FIREWORKS.

Sunday, June 25

At 10:30 a.m. - Solemn Mass for the patron saints Peter and Paul Investiture of the contrada captains. Offering of candles to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church by ladies and knights of the 6 contrade.

At 12 p.m. - Lunch at the food counter. Reservations are recommended.

At 3:30 p.m. - Finals of the tournaments.

At 6:30 p.m. - Aperitif in the oratory followed by dinner at the food counter with musical accompaniment.

At 9:15 p.m. - Masnago churchyard "...and the stars are watching." Parade of wedding dresses from the 1960s to the present day. Directed by Agostino Landi.

Wednesday, June 29

Mass on the day of Saints Peter and Paul concelebrated by priests native to or past Masnago.

Reservations are recommended for food areas.
