Varese, land of events

June 2026 | Luino

Luino, an eventful June!

The Municipality of Luino is preparing to welcome the summer season with a rich calendar of events that will enliven the month of June in the city's main venues, including Palazzo Verbania, Piazza Libertà, and Parco Ferrini.

From June 4th to 7th, the 20th° anniversary of the Terre Insubri Theatre, Music and Comedy Festival will be held, hosted between Palazzo Verbania and Parco Ferrini, with the support of the Municipality of Luino. The documentary exhibition “What's No Longer There and What's Not Yet There”, part of Archivissima, is scheduled to open on June 5th at the Luino Historical Archives.

From June 8th to 14th, there will also be space for solidarity with “40 years of humanity”, an initiative for the fortieth anniversary of the Italian Red Cross Luino and Valleys Committee, scheduled in various locations around the city.

There will be no shortage of events dedicated to taste and socializing: the farmers' market in Piazza Libertà on June 14th and street food at the new port from the 19th to the 21st, organized with the Nuova Pro Loco Città di Luino. On June 20th, Palazzo Verbania will host a conference dedicated to Piero Chiara, a writer originally from the area, in collaboration with the University of Parma.

The month will close with “Luino in festa”, including a rowing pole, religious celebrations, music and fireworks for the patronal feast. A varied program that confirms the Municipality's desire to enhance culture, tradition, and community participation.

Further updates on the program will follow.
