The Great Green Ring of Somma Lombardo is a circular route of about 25 kilometers that surrounds Somma Lombardo, in the heart of the Ticino Park.
While walking (or cycling), you continuously move from one environment to another: a stretch of dense woodland suddenly opens onto cultivated fields, a dirt road leads to a farmhouse, a path runs alongside green areas where nature is reclaiming its space.
It is precisely this variety that makes the route so interesting: there is no single landscape, but a continuous sequence of different scenery.
