On October 31st, at the Busto Arsizio Textile Museum, comes the tenth edition of "Celtic New Year" organized by the Gens d'Ys Academy of Irish Dances, under the patronage of the Busto Arsizio Municipal Administration.
An event full of activities for young and old, with live music, concert, theater, dancing and at the stroke of midnight, a moment of reflection for all. A perfect fusion of modernity and ancient legends. Fun is guaranteed!
PROGRAMME:
6 p.m. and 7 p.m. (two shifts) - Fairies, Goblins, Etcetera
In the woods of Busto Arsizio, not many people know it, but magical creatures, fairies, goblins and other enchanted beings are hidden, and they seem to be the perfect protagonists of a fairy tale from another time. Are you ready to listen to it, or perhaps, who knows... to write it with us? We look forward to a great little fairy tale journey for explorers of all ages. Organised by Dramatrà
7.30 pm - Northern European folk dances workshop
First lesson in Northern European group dances, followed by dancing all together during the concerts
Concerts
9 pm DUILLEOGA - Irish dance party for everyone
(for beginners it is preferable to have participated in the 7.30 p.m. stage)
10.30 pm THE CLURS - Irish folk rock concert
10.30 p.m. - Award ceremony for the Contest: "The most beautiful pumpkin
Bring your pumpkin, we'll display it together with the others, and the best three pumpkins will be awarded in the public's judgement
24.00 - Ritual bonfire
A moment of recollection for reflection. With the ritual participation of the Temple of Cybele. People can then write notes with things to leave and things to wish for, which will then be burnt.
