Saturday, May 17, 2025, starting at 18.00, will be held the XIII Edition of the event "BETWEEN ART AND TASTING" one of the most popular events organized by the Municipality of Castiglione Olona and Pro Loco Castiglione Olona.

An evening that will embrace the historic center of the island of Tuscany in Lombardy: from the square, in the heart of the village, you will climb to the Castle of Monteruzzo with a route of tastings, art, music and shows.

After having bought the glass and drinks at one of the two stands of the Pro Loco, you can taste labels and fine wines from different regions of Italy from 26 different wineries, as well as savour a dozen different gastronomic proposals able to enhance every type of combination, all enriched by artistic and musical events.

The cellars will be located between Piazza Garibaldi and the Castello di Monteruzzo: for the second consecutive year, in fact, the success of recent years has asked to expand the offer and spaces intended to accommodate thousands of participants, from the square to the park.

The initiative will be officially inaugurated at 19:00 in Centro Storico presence of authorities and presidents of the associations involved.

The city museums Palazzo Branda Castiglioni, Museo Arte Plastica and Museo della Collegiata will be open until 9.00 pm with last entry at 8.30 pm offering visitors the opportunity to take an exclusive evening tour. Inside the former council room from 19.00, with a reply at 20.15, will be held instead the theatrical reading "The Journey of Wine: the true story of King Barolo and Queen Barbera" written and interpreted by Giovanni Ardemagni .

In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to Saturday 7 June 2025.
