An opportunity to learn, play and support the community. On Saturday, May 17, 2025, starting at 4.00 p.m., the garden of the A.M. and G.B. Dall'Aglio nursery school in Lissago (via San Carlo 4, Varese) will be transformed into a lively educational and recreational space for the Festa delle Api, an event open to everyone and aimed at families, children and nature lovers.

The initiative was born with the aim of raising awareness for young and old about the importance of bees for the ecosystem and for the very survival of our planet. The entire proceeds of free and conscious offerings collected during the day will be donated to support the kindergarten.

A programme of knowledge, creativity and fun

The afternoon will open with a special lesson on bees, held by Marino Besozzi, local beekeeper, who will accompany the participants to discover the extraordinary organization of these insects, their habits and the essential role they play in safeguarding biodiversity.

Next, space for creativity with a laboratory for the construction of insects using colored cardboard and recycled materials. An activity designed to stimulate the imagination of children and reflect on the importance of reuse and sustainability.

The highlight of the day will be the inauguration of the hotel bug and the flower garden, a concrete symbol of a commitment to protect the environment and local biodiversity. The initiative is part of the wider educational project Greenschool, which promotes responsible behavior and actions in favor of nature.

For the duration of the festival, there will also be available to participants traditional wooden games, perfect to entertain children and encourage socialization in a natural and welcoming environment.

An event for the whole community
The Feast of Bees is not only an opportunity for recreation and learning, but also a gesture of solidarity.  The donations collected (the event is a free and conscious contribution) will contribute to support the activities of the A.M. and G.B. Dall'Aglio nursery school in Lissago.
