The Monte Pelada is a pleasant hill, with a moderate elevation of 472 meters, surrounded by greenery. Walking through the woods that cover it, your view occasionally opens onto the lakes below, visible through the trees like small, unexpected glimpses. The route starts from Osmate and gently climbs along the hill, accompanied by chestnut, pine, oak, and birch trees, in a fresh and relaxing environment.
Once you reach the top, the path continues downhill toward Lentate, still surrounded by forest, until you come across a carved glacial boulder, the “Sass de la Pedana,” which appears almost suddenly along the way and makes the walk even more evocative.
