A fascinating route that leads to one of the most scenic panoramic terraces overlooking Lake Lugano and Lugano. The trail starts in Montegrino Valtravaglia, specifically from the locality of La Nave, and follows the historic Cadorna Line, passing through trenches, artillery positions, and nature trails.

The climb to Monte Sette Termini offers spectacular views over Lake Maggiore, making it an ideal panoramic stop. From here, the route crosses a beautiful pine forest leading to the peaceful lake of Montegrino, surrounded by greenery and perfect for a relaxing break.

The return follows ancient farmsteads, picturesque hamlets, and historic mule tracks, offering authentic views over the valley below and a finale rich in charm and tradition. The route ends once again in Montegrino Valtravaglia, completing a loop that combines history, nature, and breathtaking scenery.
