On June 13 and 14, 2026, Lavena Ponte Tresa will host the 5th Associations and Sports Festival, a free weekend dedicated to sport, wellness and family-friendly entertainment in the beautiful setting of the lakeside promenade.

Saturday, June 13: A Day of Sport and Activity

The festival kicks off at 10:00 a.m. with registrations for the Table Tennis Tournament at Broa. During the morning, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Ponte Tresa Volley will host the “Let’s Play Together” open day, offering everyone the chance to discover and enjoy volleyball.
Also starting at 10:00 a.m., the 12-Hour Basketball Marathon will bring energy and excitement throughout the day with games, challenges and opportunities to socialize. The event will be accompanied by DJ sets, food and beverage areas, creating a festive atmosphere for athletes and visitors alike.
In the afternoon, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the spotlight turns to football with an exhibition by the OCT Youth Sector, along with information about the upcoming sports season.
Wellness activities organized by Studio è Vita will follow, featuring Qi Gong at 4:00 p.m., Yoga at 4:45 p.m., a Youth Yoga performance at 6:30 p.m. in the Festival Area, and the highly anticipated SUP Yoga on the lake at 7:00 p.m. (reservation required).

Sunday, June 14: Creativity, Sport and Relaxation

Sunday begins with one of the festival’s most anticipated events: the Carton Boat Race, the fun and original competition where teams race boats built entirely from cardboard and adhesive tape. Younger participants can join the Carton Boat Race Kids, designed for children aged 5 to 10.
During the day, visitors will also have the opportunity to try tennis and padel free of charge thanks to activities organized by Tennis Padel Lago Maggiore SSD, open to both children and adults.
Wellness will once again play a central role, with morning sessions of Qi Gong, Yoga and special activities led by Studio è Vita. At 4:30 p.m., the Festival Area will host a major exhibition of Postural Gymnastics, Pilates and GAG (Legs, Abs and Glutes) with Stefi Corsi.

All activities will take place between Broa and the Festival Area on the Lavena Ponte Tresa lakeside promenade.
Admission and participation in all festival activities are free of charge.
