Gavirate – Biandronno – Bodio Lomnago – Azzate – Schiranna (Varese) – Calcinate – Voltorre – Gavirate

The itinerary goes through the Olona Valley, crossing Brunello, Morazzone, Castiglione Olona, Tradate, Venegono Inferiore, Superiore and Parco della Pineta in Appiano Gentile. The local environment is various and rich of historical and artistic witnesses, among with the beautiful borgo of Castiglione Olona ranked among the first ideal cities in RInascimento.

The itinerary connects the lombardian side of Lake Maggiore to Varese and it is mostly flat. It goes across many muncipalities, such as Gemonio, Cocquio Trevisago, Gavirate, Biandronno, Buguggiate, Azzate e Galliate.
