Walking along the ridge we can follow the connection between Monte Orsa and Monte Pravello.

The route, well marked, starts from the village of Viggiù (461m) where the signs to follow are the tourist ones that indicate the Cadorna Line. We proceed towards Colle Sant'Elia and continue until we meet the indications of the mountains that are our destination.

Delio or d'Elio lake is located a 1000 meters above sea level on the Lake Maggiore, belongs to district of Pino and Veddasca. 

It's possible arriving by car, parking and starting the trail skirting a dam. In less than an hour is reached a little montain pasture and follow the indications to Passo della Forcora (1179 m). 

Behind the little curch, over Monte Cadrigna, there is an easy path with a fantastic panoramic view.

The route starts from the convenient Vararo parking lot (725m).

Leave the car and follow the signs. Then we meet the sign indicating the "Pizzoni". We then climb up to Passo Barbè (874m). The cross and the "Pizzoni di Laveno" sign tells us that we have reached the goal a 1018m altitude. To the west of the almost vertical wall we can admire Lake Maggiore, Luino and Maccagno from above.
