Agusta Museum Foundation
The Agusta Museum houses examples of motorcycles and helicopters designed and built by the company since the 1950s in its spaces.
The guides who accompany visitors along the exhibition route are all former Agusta Group workers who know every detail of the helicopters and motorcycles in the museum.
A guided tour that ranges from the passion for flight and speed, to the history of a family business that became a world leader, to the technological and construction details.
In the section dedicated to motorcycles, it is possible to see the models that have made the history of motorcycle racing and the special projects that Agusta technicians devoted themselves to over the years.
Through the display of motorcycles and exhibition panels one relives the legend of the historic MV and its riders such as Giacomo Agostini and John Surtees.
At the Agusta Museum, above all, one can "touch with one's own hands" the evolution of vertical flight through different sections showing technological developments, for example, of helicopter transmissions, design and materials research.
Thanks to the 129 simulator located on the second floor, one can experience the thrill of flight.
Also part of the Museum, Villa Agusta, now home to the Historical Archives, is located on the "coast" adjacent to the Museum's headquarters, and is a splendid example of the historical restoration of a 1935 building. The two-story, square-plan villa largely preserves the original structure and subdivision of rooms.
A site of historical and cultural interest, it is possible to visit the Villa every Sunday, during the same opening hours as the neighboring Agusta Museum and with the same ticket, with the possibility of stepping back in time, to the middle of the last century, when the villa was inhabited by the Agustas, walking through the rooms, set up with period furnishings.
