An intense route starting from Brinzio, a picturesque village with a characteristic historic centre, featuring narrow streets paved with red stone and old courtyards, leading to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Sacro Monte di Varese Reserve.

The itinerary winds through the natural landscape, gradually leaving the village behind and encountering the crucifix erected on the occasion of the Passionist Fathers’ preaching, a testimony to the history and traditions of the area.

The route then reaches the Pizzelle Pass, at an altitude of 926 metres, an important point along the itinerary and a gateway towards Santa Maria del Monte.

From here, the trail descends towards the characteristic village of Santa Maria del Monte, passing through Piazzale Pogliaghi, with the opportunity to enjoy the surrounding landscape.
