A packed schedule of events awaits visitors in Sesto Calende on Sunday, June 7. From 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the riverside promenade will host Gli Ambulanti del Lago Maggiore, a quality open-air market, while from 10:00 a.m. to noon visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a free guided tour of San Vincenzo Oratory.
In the afternoon, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the town center squares will come alive with “Musica Sifa Strada”, featuring live performances by local music groups. The Archaeological Museum will also be open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. At 6:00 p.m., free admission to “Francesco800”, an electronic music concert marking the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi.
Art exhibitions are also continuing: “Wearable Paintings” by Simona Alionte (on display until June 16) and “Drawings by Paola Ravasi, in the Sign of Spazio Luce” by Paola Ravasi (on display until June 7).
