Discover FAI’s Christmas Program

November 30, December 7–8–14, 2025 – Villa Della Porta Bozzolo
Step back into the 18th century and explore the festive traditions of the villa—from the kitchen to the customs of the time. Special focus will be given to the collection of veilleuse lamps and the Della Porta family’s table service, crafted in the late 19th century in Laveno by the renowned Società Ceramica, which made Lake Maggiore famous for its fine ceramics.

December 6, 2025 – Monastero di Torba | A Painted Nativity
A marvel awaits in the noble oratory of Santa Maria Foris Portas in Castelseprio, above the Monastery of Torba. During the guided visit, participants will uncover fascinating details about the story of the Holy Family through readings from the apocryphal Gospels that inspired the frescoes. The tour continues at the Monastery of Torba, where visitors can observe how sacred images evolved in style and color, revealing the living history of early Christianity.

December 7, 8, 13 & 14, 2025 – Casa Macchi | Christmas at Casa Macchi
Casa Macchi opens its doors for its annual Christmas sale!
Alongside items from the Emporium, this year’s edition features many new and exclusive products, as well as tastings of local delicacies and FAI-branded specialties.
The event will take place in several ground-floor rooms, but visitors can also enjoy free visits or join guided tours to uncover stories and curiosities about the house.

December 7 & 8, 2025 – Villa Panza | Winter Magic at Villa Panza
A creative workshop designed to introduce children to contemporary art amid the enchanting atmosphere of the days leading up to Christmas.
Between the magic of the park and the evocative rooms of the villa, children will explore the scents, colors, and shapes of nature, transforming materials gathered from the garden into a work of art—a unique keepsake of a journey through art and nature to cherish forever.
Recommended for children aged 4 to 8.

December 8, 2025 – Monastero di Torba | Guided Tour with Panettone Tasting
The Monastery of Torba holds over 1,500 years of history within its ancient walls. A guided tour will unveil the fascinating story of the first FAI property and UNESCO World Heritage Site, concluding with a tasting of Lombardy’s most beloved festive dessert—the panettone.
