“Tante care cose”: the flea and antiques market at Casa Macchi in Morazzone (VA) returns, organized by the FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., offering visitors a wide selection of furniture, prints, porcelain, ceramics, glassware, magazines, postcards, antique toys, and other memorabilia.
For the occasion, the market visit will be enhanced by a selection of drinks and seasonal sweet and savory dishes—from breakfast to aperitivo—as well as a carefully curated selection of vinyl records.
As usual, guided tours of the house will also be available, lasting about 1 hour, allowing visitors to discover some of the key traces of its history. Through furniture and household objects, old photographs, newspapers, magazines, letters, postcards, linens, and wedding trousseaux, Casa Macchi offers an authentic glimpse into the small daily gestures of a typical Lombard bourgeois family.
