On Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, 2026, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the winter returns: the Christmas market “Christmas Lights” will once again bring the charming mountain village of Rasa, near Varese, to life, transforming it into a little enchanted Christmas village.

Now in its 26th edition, the event continues to delight visitors of all ages, attracting people from across the province and neighbouring regions every year. It is a special opportunity to enjoy the magic of Christmas ahead of time, surrounded by sparkling lights, festive scents and high-quality craftsmanship.

Visitors will find a wide selection of exhibitors offering artistic handicrafts, Christmas decorations, felt and wooden creations, home accessories, handmade clothing and plenty of original gift ideas.

• Saturday, November 14: 2:00 pm – 7:30 pm
• Sunday, November 15: 10:00 am – 7:30 pm

A free shuttle service will be available to reach Rasa:

• From the Hippodrome (Piazzale Martiri della Libertà): departures every hour, with intermediate stops.
• From the Motta Rossa car park: a shuttle minibus will operate throughout the event.

Alternatively, Rasa can also be reached on foot via a pleasant walk suitable for everyone.

Visitors can also reach the Christmas market from Bregazzana by joining the “Wandering Lanterns” walk, organised by the Friends of Bregazzana association (Amici di Bregazzana).

The route covers approximately 5 km along the trails connecting the two neighbourhoods.

• Return: approximately 7:30–7:45 pm
