The journey begins in Bernate, taking you into nature among gentle hills shaped by ancient glaciers and environments rich in biodiversity.
The route then descends towards the Ticino River, crossing the Strona stream and the Vigano Woods, a beautiful pine forest where a large glacial erratic boulder lies hidden—an authentic witness to the area’s geological history.

Following the river, the route reaches Tornavento, a village overlooking the valley with spectacular views, before continuing towards the Vegonno Plain, where breathtaking vistas open up over Lake Varese.
