From Sunday 2nd April to Sunday 21st May 2023 | Castiglione Olona
On the occasion of the customary "Cardinal's Fair", a fixed appointment every first Sunday of the month, on Sunday 2nd April, at 11.00, the photographic exhibition "SPACES, PRESENCE, LANDSCAPE" will be inaugurated, curated and set up in the rooms of the 15th-century Palazzo Branda Castiglioni, seat of the Civic Museum (Piazza G. Garibaldi).
The exhibition is part of the 2023 programme of the prestigious "European Photographic Festival" and presents the close link between architecture, the environment and man as seen through the eyes of three different photographers, who exhibit their projects in three different settings in the rooms of the fifteenth-century Castiglione Olona palace, home of the Civic Museum: Giorgio Galimberti with "Il Nero Sublima il Paesaggio" offers unprecedented perspectives where places and the figures that animate them merge between black and light, generating graphisms capable of synthesising form, the Chinese Qian Jin with "Dinasty in Stone" portrays the symbols of the millenary Chinese dynasties that coexist and resist in the same space changed over time, and finally Fabio Mantovani who with his project "Hong Kong - Public Housing" documents and stops in time the urban reality of the Chinese metropolis.
The opening, with free admission, will be held in the presence of festival curator Claudio Argentiero and photographer Giorgio Galimberti, who will accompany those present on an exclusive guided tour of the exhibition.
The exhibition, which is part of the Museum's visitor route, will be open until Sunday 21st May 2023.
