Saturday, May 31 in Germignaga at 22 o'clock the river Tresa will be illuminated with hundreds of lights that will give life to the event.

Born a few years ago with the intention of using the water and the mouth of the Tresa, for a popular show.

Floating on the Tresa, the colorful lights will create a spectacular moment and a magical atmosphere visible from the "Boschetto" of Germignaga.

The show will consist in the release upstream of the bridge between Germignaga and Luino hundreds of colored LED lights that slowly descend towards the mouth.

The LED lights are contained in airtight enclosures that will be recovered by the operators at the mouth of the Tresa to avoid any pollution.

The Tresa river is 13 km long, an outlet of Lake Lugano after collecting the waters of various tributaries including the Margorabbia, flows into Lake Maggiore. For the inhabitants of Germignaga and surroundings at the mouth of the Tresa it has always been customary to see an islet larger or smaller and changing shape depending on the water flow of the river.

Perhaps not everyone knows that the area is important for the birds that use Lake Maggiore as an ecological corridor during spring and autumn migrations.

In addition to this free show, the Pro Loco will organize the gastronomic evening from 19 hours, in the area of "Boschetto" parties. It will then be possible to dine in the party area to admire the show.
