The new edition will take place from May to August 2026, covering the municipalities of Angera, Besozzo, Gavirate, Ispra, Laveno Mombello, Leggiuno (Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso), Ranco, and Travedona Monate, with the participation of local museums, associations, and tourism and business operators.

Lake Maggiore and the scenic beauty of the lower Lombardy shore once again serve as the inspiration for this year’s Festival, which in 2026 will be dedicated to COLORS.

There will be 21 concerts in some of the area’s most picturesque locations, events in nature and along the lake’s shores to help visitors learn to listen to and experience its beauty, as well as various other activities, all part of a broad and multidisciplinary program.

The initiative is sponsored by the Province and Municipality of Varese, the Varese Chamber of Commerce, the Monte Rosa Laghi - Alto Piemonte Chamber of Commerce, the Varesotto Community Foundation, Navigazione Lago Maggiore, and the MAB Ticino Val Grande Verbano Biosphere Reserve.
