Saturday 31 May 2025 the Municipality of Castiglione Olona (VA), in collaboration with local groups and associations, organizes the 11th edition of "BORGO DEI BALOCCHI", an event born with the idea of rediscovering through play the values, culture and traditions of the past.
The event, organized by the Department of Social Policies and Education and sponsored by the Province of Varese, will start from 15.00 and until 19.00 will welcome children and their families in the Old Town, entertaining them throughout the afternoon with various activities that will take place in the most characteristic corners of the central Piazza Garibaldi. There will be several educational workshops, play activities, fairy tales, games, readings and animation shows.

As the past years will be present the activities of the Castiglionese school institutes, local bodies and associations and the youth section of the Italian Red Cross - Varese with the Ambulance Pupazzi. Among the novelties of this edition we point out the presence throughout the afternoon of Stefano Animation that will entertain children with its fun games and magic numbers and that of the Room of Arms of the Magli d'Acciaio that will revive the magical deeds of the valiant knights and noble ladies.

Participation in the events is free, during the day there will be delicious refreshments.

In case of bad weather the event will be cancelled.
