The Pro Loco Laveno Mombello Cerro organizes a cultural walk to discover Mombello and its history, as part of the initiative “Two Steps in Company”.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in Piazza del Carroccio.
The route will include several symbolic sites of the area:

• Parco della Torbiera, where the first human settlement developed around 7,000 years ago
• Church of Santa Maria di Corte (13th century)
• Uphill walk to the Rocca, with a visit to the Church/Lazaretto of San Michele and the War Memorial

Return is expected by 12:30 p.m. Participation is free, and comfortable sportswear is recommended.
