The path n. 18/318 starts in Rancio Valcuvia near the picnic area at the intersection of the Provincial Road n. 62 and Via Valganna. Not far away, the historic center of the village, houses ancient houses of medieval origin, the former convent of the Umiliati and the stone bridge over the river Rancina.

The starting point of the path n. 17/317 is located in Via G. Marconi in Cocquio Trevisago in front of the station and near the shopping center, with a large parking lot.

Along the Via Stazione first and through the "Strada per Caldana" then, climb uphill to the final staircase, from which you can see in the distance the summit called "Forte di Orino".

The path n. 16/316 starts from Bedero Valcuvia, a quiet village located on a hill overlooking the Valcuvia. Its historic center is characterized by typical medieval details. The trek starts from Via Ganna, in front of the former Kindergarten, near a large parking lot. Along a narrow street a few dozen meters long, you reach the Provincial Road n. 11 - or Via Milano, which must be crossed to take the Via Valleggia and go downhill until you reach the village of Val di Lorino, characterized by a large grassy area.
