The "Vini Varesini" Vi.Va. Association was founded in the autumn of 2008 with the desire to safeguard the territory and agricultural production in the Varese area.

Small and medium-sized local wineries have joined together, animated by the desire to create wines of excellence with 'ancient' and 'natural' flavours, which reflect in their organoleptic characteristics the peculiarities of the territory. To do this, they have for some years now resumed wine production from Merlot, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Shiraz, Traminer and Chardonnay grapes.

Between museums, cultural sites and natural beauties the territory hides sweetness capable of amaze and pamper you.  From the ancient country villages in the south of the province, to the Swiss border, we recommend you to taste delights, which bring with them ancient stories of the varistor.

The Amaretti di Saronno: born in 1718 as a gift for the then Cardinal of Milan visiting the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Saronno, today they are known and loved all over the world. 

Our area offers varoius places and activities suitable for children and their grandparents to spend time together, having fun and exploring.
