The route begins in Pozzolo, one of the small hamlets that make up Gavirate, an area inhabited since ancient times. The atmosphere still reflects that of traditional rural villages, and the hike starts gently, passing an old washhouse before continuing along the first streets of the settlement. The path then gradually ascends, leaving the houses behind and reaching the area of Cà dei Monti.
Museo Internazionale Design Ceramico
Il Museo Internazionale del Design Ceramico (MIDeC) è ospitato a Cerro, all’interno del cinquecentesco Palazzo Guilizzoni (oggi Perabò). L'esposizione delle raccolte si articola in undici sale al piano nobile del palazzo. Si tratta di un Museo a carattere specialistico che raccoglie e documenta la produzione della terraglia forte da metà '800 a metà '900 nell'area lombarda e ha il merito di offrire al pubblico un'esposizione chiara ed omogenea.
