Discovering the Fiorita Coast of Lake Maggiore: From Angera to Santa Caterina del Sasso

This exceptional route touches some of the most suggestive places of the so-called "Costa Fiorita" of Lake Maggiore. From the imposing Rocca di Angera you cross, through vineyards and hills, the hinterland passing by the Museo della Pipa di Brebbia and the height of Cardana, to proceed towards the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso, the most famous sacred building on Lake Maggiore perched on the cliff at Leggiuno. The return is all on the coast through parks, small harbours and villages until you reach Ispra and the Gulf of Quassa.

From Caldè to the Pizzo di Cuvignone

The hiking route from Caldè, affectionately called the "Portofino del Lago Maggiore", to the Rifugio Adamoli on the Pizzo di Cuvignone, offers an exciting experience through unfrequented roads and mule tracks. This route combines spectacular views, cultural and naturalistic points of interest, culminating in one of the most fascinating villages in the region.

Discovering the Province of Varese: from Casalzuigno to Vararo

The hiking route from Casalzuigno to Vararo crosses about 11 km of natural and cultural landscapes of the province of Varese. Starting from Villa della Porta Bozzolo, you pass through points of interest such as San Quirico, Cittiglio, La Fontanaccia and Casere, ending at the Trattoria Alpino in Vararo. This route of about 3 hours and 20 minutes (no stops) offers an overview of the historical and natural beauties of the area, ideal for those who like to explore on foot.
