DAY 1 – LAKE MAGGIORE FAMILY TOUR

DESCRIPTION-  A tour in the shadow of the Rocca d'Angera that will touch on some of the most beautiful natural, historical and scenic areas of lower Verbano. Through the vineyards, we will circle around Monte San Quirico to then reach the Parco della Quassa; we will walk along its long and evocative tree-lined avenue to arrive in the town of Ispra, where we can take a break and visit its splendid lakeside promenade along the Promenade of Love. The return trip is all along the shore of Lake Maggiore passing by Sasso Cavallazzo, an impressive natural monument. Passing through Ranco to Angera, you will return to the starting point not before visiting the Oasi Bruschera from where you can admire the Rocca from a very special viewpoint.

 

POINTS OF INTEREST - Historic Center of Angera,  Angera's Borromeo Castle, Park of Quassa, Masso Erratico, Lido of Ispra, Promenade of Love, Old Furnaces.

DAY 2 – CYCLE PATH OF LAKE OF VARESE

DESCRIPTION-  The cycle path par excellence in the province of Varese, always in the green and in contact with the lake, dotted with magnificent views, lidos, pier crossings, the Unesco site of Isolino Virginia and historical sites from every era. A day immersed in the nature and history of the province of Varese in an impressive ring-route travelled every year by thousands of people.

DAY 3 – TICINO AREA , THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGE

DESCRIPTION- This is one of the most beautiful and complete ring-routes that will allow us to touch on many sceneries: paths overhanging the river, the network of canals, a terrace on the Ticino Valley, the most beautiful small village in the Province of Varese, the history of aviation, one of the most important heaths remaining in Europe, the historic Via Gaggio and the Cardano ring-route without hardly touching the paved road.

 

POINTS OF INTEREST - Visconti of  San Vito Castle , Panperduto and channel network, Castelnovate anse, Tornavento village, Heath of Via Gaggio, remains and runways of World War II aviation.
