Saturday 24 May 2025 the Oratory of Morosolo will host the ninth edition of Agreenrun, non-competitive running competition open to all, flanked by the Miniagreenrun, designed for children and less trained. The proceeds will be entirely donated to the schools of Casciago and Morosolo.

The initiative, supported by VareseNews and Materia thanks to the beautiful bib that will be used in the race dedicated to children, promotes values of solidarity, environmental respect and community cohesion.

The race for all that supports schools
The Agreenrun #9 is confirmed again this year as a central event for the community of Morosolo and Casciago. Organized by the Pro Loco Casciago with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Casciago, the non-competitive race aims to involve people of all ages in a moment of sport and sharing, with the objective of supporting the local school realities.

The program of the day includes the meeting and registration at 17.00 at the Oratory of Morosolo.  The start of the main race, 6.7 kilometers long, is set for 18.30, while five minutes later the Miniagreenrun (2.5 kilometers), designed for less experienced participants and for children born between 2011 and 2025, will start.

The participation includes a contribution of 5 euros for adults and 3 euros for children, with all proceeds going to the schools of Casciago and Morosolo. A choice that reinforces the solidarity value of the event and makes it an opportunity for concrete support to the territory.

Walter Coppe Challenge and solidarity
Agreenrun 2025 is part of the Walter Coppe Challenge, circuit that brings together more than 30 running events throughout the Varese. All participants in Agreenrun, but also interested citizens, can also bring their old running shoes, which are no longer used: the collected shoes will be donated to the association Pane di Sant'Antonio, Always committed to supporting people in need.

Awards, sharing and respect for the environment
Numerous prizes: the first five men and the first five women of the Agreenrun, the first five residents of the Municipality and the first three boys and girls of the Miniagreenrun will be recognized. A participation medal will also be given to all young people enrolled, while the largest class will receive a voucher for the purchase of teaching material. All made possible by the various sponsors (especially local) that support the initiative.

Respect for the environment will also be a key element: no plastic bottles will be distributed and participants are invited to bring their own water bottle during the event.

To complete the program, throughout the evening will be active the gastronomic stand and the party will continue with the music of the band Magic Sound.
