Serena Contini, 'Art and Architecture in the Ventennio in Varese'

From Piazza Montegrappa with its buildings to the Palazzo della Questura, passing from the Palazzo del Tribunale to the Casa del Mutilato, Varese, which became the capital of the Province in 1927, preserves a rich heritage of rationalist architecture.

Andy Warhol meets Villa Panza with Emma Zanella

Ciao Nanni-official tribute to Nanni Svampa

Theatre-song performance by and with Francesco Pellicini with Paolo Pellicini guitar and Fazio Armellini accordion in memory of the Milanese artist's career. A poetic journey through songs from the repertoire of Georges Brassens, the songs of the "mala milanese" and the popular Lombard tradition.

"From Piero Chiara to the film" with Domenico Lucchini and Antonio Mariotti

Time: 8.30 p.m.

Venue: Parish Centre,via Girella 41, Lamone - Canton Ticino

Retrospective on winners and award-winners in the Videomaking Competition.

Cinema has been an important presence in the literature of Piero Chiara, from whose works immortal masterpieces of Italian seventh art have sprung.

The tradition continues with the Videomaking Competition that the Chiara Prize dedicates to the work and figure of the writer from Luino.
