Fort Orino is one of the most beloved destinations in the Campo dei Fiori Regional Park, a place where nature and history come together to offer one of the most spectacular views over the province of Varese.

Starting from Pensione Irma, the route is easy, scenic, and suitable for the whole family. The trail splits into two alternatives, both surrounded by lush greenery: one passes near the Schiaparelli Astronomical Observatory and leads to a charming viewpoint, while the other follows the old military road, where you can still see the historic wells once used by soldiers.

The two paths rejoin shortly before the destination, guiding hikers to Fort Orino, where a breathtaking panorama rewards every step of the journey.
