In Cuasso al Monte, a route originally created for war has now been transformed into a journey dedicated to peace.

In the heart of the Cinque Vette Park, the Peace Trail follows a scenic section of the historic Cadorna Line, guiding visitors through forests, memories, and breathtaking landscapes all the way to the summit of Monte Derta.
The trail begins at the Cuasso municipal building and covers approximately 6.5 km, offering an immersive experience combining nature, history, and local stories.

Along the path, ten themed installations and audio content accessible via QR codes lead visitors to discover the surrounding environment, the events that shaped the area, and the messages of peace preserved by the mountain.

Passing ancient trenches and offering spectacular views of Lake Ceresio and the Alps, the route reaches the scenic viewpoint of Sasso Paradiso, where past and present come together in a place of great beauty and significance.
