Space has always captured our imagination and films that talk about space missions and related dangerous adventures, perhaps based on true stories, keep us glued to the screen with bated breath.
An iconic film of this type is “Apollo 13”, very well known; but there are others who do not enjoy the same fame, although they are equally compelling. Like the Russian film Salyut 7, made in 2017, based on a true story that happened in 1985.
It tells the story of a risky and complex rescue and rescue mission of a Soviet space station with serious operational problems. The recovery and commissioning of the station by two Soviet cosmonauts was an operation of the highest technological level.

This accurate and spectacular film will be screened by the Astronomical Society G.V.Schiaparelli ”Saturday 27 November at 9.00 pm at the Sala Montanari of the Municipality of Varese, with a presentation and final comment by Giuseppe Palumbo, expert in astronautics and cinephile
