WELCOME MIGRANTS!

Meeting time: 2:30 pm

Lipu guides will lead you on a guided tour to the observation tower in the Integral Nature Reserve. Equipped with binoculars, we will welcome birds of prey, herons, and ducks. On this occasion, you will discover stories of incredible journeys and the thousand difficulties faced to reach this sanctuary—for some of them, it’s their very first trip! But how do they know where to go? Come and find out!

LOCE POTIONS FOR WIZARDS

Sunday 22^nd  March 

Meeting time: 2:30 pm

Become the protagonist of an itinerant fairy tale along the paths of the Reserve, featuring quirky characters and a mission to complete! The wizard Maurk is disturbing all the animals in the marsh—how can we set things right? Young wizards and witches will help save the day, despite Maurk’s attempts to stop them. Don't worry, children will face trials of skill with the help of mom and dad to bring peace back to the marsh! The afternoon will conclude with a snack.

A STROLL THROUGH THE OASIS

Sunday 22^nd  March 

Meeting time: 2:30 pm

A guided tour along the open-access paths of the oasis. Binoculars in hand, we will look up to spot passerines and woodpeckers. We will observe nature awakening with the first buds and listen to the "love songs" of birds, revealing curiosities and eccentricities of the winged world. Participants can also visit the observation hut and various blinds to watch the inhabitants of the reserve.

OBSERVING AND PHOTOGRAPHING NATURE

Saturday 28^th  March 

Meeting time: 9:30 am

A workshop with Piergiovanni Salimbeni, independent tester and journalist, dedicated to different naturalistic documentation techniques. The session includes a practical comparison between digiscoping (using smartphones and cameras) and traditional wildlife photography. The meeting will clarify the potential, limits, and operational differences of various solutions, helping participants choose the best approach based on their expectations, available time, and context.

BETWEEN WHISTLES AND NEIGHS

Sunday 29^th  March 

Meeting time: 9:30 am

Birds of prey have always fascinated humans with their majestic wingspan. Join our guided tour in the Integral Reserve accompanied by expert guides. If you have binoculars, bring them along; otherwise, they can provide a pair. A day to discover the raptors soaring over the Marsh, including kites, buzzards, and hawks. Through aerial displays and calls, you will learn the unique characteristics of these species.

"WEEDS" IN THE PAN

Sunday 29^th  March 

Meeting time: 2:30 pm

A walk through the meadows of the oasis accompanied by Rosella Aresi, who will share her expertise in recognizing edible wild herbs and their culinary uses. An opportunity to learn how to use flowers and plants often mistakenly considered "weeds," which were once widely used by our grandparents for their health properties and as delicious ingredients for traditional dishes.

GEOMETRIES IN FLIGHT

Sunday 29^th  March 

Meeting time: 2:30 pm

The air will be the main protagonist today! Using glue, scissors, and paper, children will unleash their imagination to build kites from recycled materials. The challenge? To see whose kite flies the highest! Parents are welcome to help with the construction and the maiden flight. The event ends with a group snack and a run through the meadows of the reserve to watch the kites soar!
