Secret Collegiate Edition 2025: only for the first week of June, a dense sequence of visits to discover places, normally inaccessible, of the Complex of the Collegiate of Castiglione Olona.

From 1 to 8 June appointments reserved for small groups (max 8 people per shift), with reservation, for a guided tour up and down in the most remote areas of the Collegiata, exceptionally open to the public.

65 steps accompany the three levels of the Collegiate: you go down into the crypt under the main altar, consecrated in 1425, and then you climb up to above the sails frescoed by Masolino da Panicale, passing through the sixteenth-century sacristy, the bell tower and the string of small rooms built in the eighteenth century above the southern nave, where some suggestive views allow you to admire the interior of the Collegiate.

A surprising physical itinerary, unexpectedly airy and rich in views of the old village, but also a historical itinerary to walk through the 600 years of the Collegiata, explore the articulation of the monumental complex, observe the construction features of the fifteenth century, approaching ancient mechanisms, such as the winch for the Flemish chandelier or the large clock hands in the bell tower.

The visits will start on Sunday 1st June and continue every day, until Sunday 8th June, including the holiday of Monday 2nd June, when the Museum will guarantee an extraordinary opening.

Reservation is mandatory, by sending an email to eventi.collegiata@gmail.com. The cost is 15 € per person (entrance and visit). The one-hour tours are for visitors over 14. Attics have passages that require comfortable shoes.
