The Gran Fondo Tre Valli Varesine is a long-distance road cycling race organized by the Società Ciclistica Alfredo Binda and NRC Occhiali; it is entered the category of  “BEST EVENTS” of the Unione Ciclistica Internazionale – UCI. The competition begins and ends in Varese crossing the Tre Valli that give the competition its name: la Valcuvia, la Valganna e la Valtravaglia.

ROUTES: 

• Cronometro Individuale: Saturday 2 October - distance km 22, difference in altitude 175 meters
• Medio Fondo: Sunday 3 October - distance km 103, difference in altitude 1447 meters
• Gran Fondo: Sunday 3 October - distance km 130, difference in altitude 1993 meters

The departures will be divided into age categories (from 19 to over 65) both men and women and the first three classified in each category will be awarded for each event (Crono, Medio Fondo e Gran Fondo) for a total of over 150 medalized cyclists.

In addition, the top 20% classified for each category qualifies to participate in the UCI GRAN FONDO WORLD CHAMPIOSHIPS 2022.
