From Friday 25th November the Christmas markets of Piazza Montegrappa in Varese returns, with lots of magical novelties to make the Christmas anticipation even more special. There will be more than 30 Christmas chalets with typical handicrafts and food and wine products, a magical ice rink, new light decorations, workshops and lots of fun for the whole family. Below you will find the programme and timetable of the numerous events and activities that will enrich this famous Christmas event.
CHRISTMAS MARKET TIMETABLES(present in Piazza Montegrappa from Friday 25th November to Monday 26th December):
- Monday: 15.00-20.00
- From Tuesday to Sunday:10.00-20.00.
ICE RINK TIMETABLES (set up in the Giardini Estensi of Varese from Saturday 26th November 2022 to Sunday 15th January 2023):
- Weekdays: 14.30-19.00
- Public holidays: 10.00-23.00.
SANTA CLAUS POST OFFICE (Piazza Montegrappa)
For this magical occasion, Santa Claus will be present to receive and answer children's letters on the following dates:
- On Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November: 15.00-18.00
- On Saturday 3, Domenica 4th and Thursday 8th December : 15.00-17.00.
CHRISTMAS CHILDREN'S TRUCE WITH TRUCCHELFA (Piazza Montegrappa)
Fun is guaranteed with the magical Trucchelfa, who will be present at the markets on the following days:
- All saturdays from Saturday 26th November: 15.00-18.00
- All sundays: 10.30-12.30/14.30-17.30
- On Thursday 8th December: 14.30 - 17.30.
WORKSHOP OF CREATIVE RECYCLE WITH CHRISTMAS MOM (Piazza Montegrappa)
A little creativity in a sustainable way to make original Christmas decorations in the company of Mother Christmas. Below is the workshop programme:
- Sunday 27th November: Door for the elf. Cardboard recycling
- Saturday 3rd December: Gnome with boat/mask. Recycling mask elastics
- Sunday 4th and Thursday 8th December: Centrepiece with gnomes or angels. Recycling egg cartons, coffee pods and wood
- Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th December: Wool garland Recycling wool
- Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th December: CD centrepiece with snowman or penguin. Recycling used CDs
- Saturday 24th December: Scented Christmas bag. Recycling masks.
