A nature-filled route starting from La Rasa di Varese, a peaceful and picturesque village known for the main source of the Olona River, located a few kilometres further north.

The itinerary heads towards the small settlement of Molino, before entering a natural environment characterised by birch woods and a valley particularly rich in springs. The trail continues through a wild and evocative landscape, beneath the rocky spurs of the Pizzelle and towards the Legnone Valley, reaching Passo Varrò, at an altitude of 733 metres.

After the most challenging section, the route continues towards Costabella and then Pradonico, alternating more moderate stretches with short uphill sections.

The itinerary ends at Piazzale Pogliaghi, a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Rasa Valley, Monte Martica, and the Alps, just a few hundred metres from the village of Santa Maria del Monte.
