From May to July 2026, the Festival Teatro & Territorio returns, reaching the prestigious milestone of its 31st edition and reaffirming its role as an important event dedicated to culture, artistic research, and the dialogue between theatre and community.

Under the Artistic and Cultural Direction of Paolo Franzato, the 2026 edition revolves around the theme “A Shadow on the Threshold of a Great Cry”, an intense and evocative title chosen as a tribute to Antonin Artaud, a seminal figure of twentieth-century theatre.

Through performances, meetings, and in-depth explorations, the festival seeks to investigate the deepest dimensions of theatrical expression, inspired by Artaud’s artistic and human legacy, reaffirming the value of theatre as a space for research, reflection, and collective participation.
