May events in Castiglione Olona

The 'Fiera del Cardinale', the antiques and handicrafts market that has been held from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm every first Sunday of the month around Piazza Garibaldi since 1978, will take place. More than 90 exhibitors will offer handicrafts, antiques, collectibles and vinyls. There will also be food and wine stalls with typical Sardinian products, Piedmont wines, craft beers, bitters, honey, cheese and sweets.

For the occasion, the monuments of the historic centre will be open and can be visited:

                    Palazzo Branda Castiglioni and Plastic Art Museum: 10.30-12.30 a.m. and 3-6 p.m.

                    Museum of the Collegiate Church: open from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Event confirmed even in case of rain, but the presence of all exhibitors is not guaranteed.

Further events of the "Fiera del Cardinale" will be held on Sunday 2 June and exceptionally on Sunday 30 June (the fair will be brought forward to allow for the Palio dei Castelli initiatives).
