Allegorical floats, masks and lots of fun to celebrate Carnival, the traditional festival that, as every year, will enliven and brighten the streets of the cities across the Province of Varese.

A season of joy, music and togetherness is about to return, filled with masks, colors and smiles. A chance to experience streets and squares together through parades, events and activities designed for both adults and children. Let yourself be swept up in the Carnival atmosphere and share moments of carefree fun and enjoyment.

Below are the scheduled events.

VARESE

Saturday, 14 February 2026 – Carnevale Bosino
At 3:00 pm, the historical opening parade of Carnival will depart from the Piazzale della Stazione Ferrovie Nord Milano, in the presence of local authorities and the Re Bosino.
The parade will proceed to Via Sacco, in front of the Town Hall, followed by the ceremonial handover of the city keys to the Re Bosino at Palazzo Estense at 3:45 pm.

Thursday, 19 February 2026 – Giovedì Grasso
Entertainment activities for children at the Pediatric Oncology Department of Ospedale del Ponte.
Entertainment activities for teenagers at the Anaconda Day Center.

Saturday, 21 February 2026 – Carnival
At 2:30 pm, departure from Via Sacco of the parade featuring floats, schools, associations and allegorical groups.
At 4:30 pm, in Piazza Repubblica or Piazza Monte Grappa, speech by the Re Bosino and float awards ceremony.
