Since then Varese has continued to turn out first-rate rowers and the sport keeps going from strength to strength: the lake around Schiranna enjoys fantastic weather conditions and is ideal for rowing, which is why teams arrive to train here every month from all over the world.

This same stretch of water is used for some of the world’s most important competitions every year.
