Once again this year the Stresa Festival returns to the Borromean Islands, on the stage of the natural scenery of Isola Bella and Isola Madre the artists perform programmes ranging from Baroque to contemporary and in original productions.

Musical performance "Romeo, Juliet and...Petruška" with the performance of the Metamorphosi Trio, Andrea Oliva, Alessandro Carbonare and Fabrice Pierre, against the backdrop of the special acoustic stage designed ad hoc by architect Michele De Lucci, La Catapulta.

Performance by Barbican Quartet, young string quartet winner of the 71st edition of the important ARD competition. The programme includes:

L. van Beethoven, String Quartet No. 15 in A minor op. 132

Performance by the Camerata RCO, a chamber ensemble made up of first parts and members of the prestigious Orchestra of the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. The programme includes: 

G. Rossini, Sonata II in A major from the Sonate a quattro for strings.
F. Schubert, Octet in F major for winds and strings op. 166 D 803 for clarinet, bassoon, horn and string quintet
