Sunday 2, 9, 16 and 23 October on the lakeside of Gavirate, the Pumpkin Festival returns as every year.

This year, during the 4 Sundays of October it will be possible to taste many regional products thanks to the dedicated market, there will be no shortage of hobbyists on the two central Sundays and the vinyl market (23 October).

In support of the event, on Sunday 9 October, the Balcon Band will animate the afternoon.

Sunday 16 October will be the turn of the Varese bakers who will bake hot bread, pizzas and focaccia while sculptors with chainsaws will amaze everyone by performing.

The traditional throwing of pumpkins with the sling is inevitable, which will make the participants smile.

A large rally of Fiat 600s will be held at the event on Sunday 23 October.

The CAI section of Gavirate will take care of the chestnut (9-16 October) and bring young and old to the mountain with the climbing wall set up especially for the occasion that will allow them to experience the "thrill" of climbing.

The Gaviratese solidarity bench will also be present (Sunday 2 October).

Among the proposals on the menu you will find pumpkin and mushroom risotto, polenta and stew and perch with chips. There will be pumpkin tortelli, Mantovani ravioli, pumpkin pies and pumpkins to buy for the kitchen.
